An acquaintance is looking to divest himself of X-Wing. He has a good number of ships from both factions, though I am waiting on a definitive list. Anybody else interested in scooping up some used figs?

Gentlemen, our offer has been rejected. We will proceed with the MM plan. Do we want to place an order soon, or wait a bit? Scum and Villainy doesn't release until sometime in Q4.

Unfortunate but it is his call. So did he decide just to stay with the game then?
I of course am up for miniature market but I would not be opposed to waiting a bit longer, I hit my gaming alotment hard last month so I would feel better waiting a bit if I am going to do a big order as I might as well grab everything I feel I might need at once including Rebel Aces which they still have on Preorder. Did we just have to hit 150 bucks to get free shipping with MM?

He was basically only looking at the full retail value. He said $190 total was as low as he would go considering he spent $250. His only real option is to keep them, because it looks like standard expansions only go for about as much as we offered.
Only $100 for free shipping. I alone seek $50 worth of ships. The Decimator should release around the same time as Rebel Aces, I wouldn't mind putting an order in at that time. Q3 is coming to a close fast, though. They ought to be out already.

FFG has had some issue with their shipment so Rebel Aces, the Outrider, and the Decimator have not hit the shelves yet from what I was reading somewhere. Alot of people apparently unhappy it is taking as long as is because they were originally suppose to be out before Gencon but did not make it *though they did have their first techncial shipment at Gencon*. Apparently alot of teeth nashing going on about that. Still it works for me to wait till Rebel Aces and the Decimator hit MM. I suspect my order will be in the 70.00 range or so we should be fine and dandy with hitting shipping.
Well if he is looking full Retail he is not going to have alot of luck I suspect. Everything he has would go for 176.87 on MM which is enough for free shipping as well. Ebay will not work for him either as the general community of the game is aware of deals like MM. Nor will any store likely give him that sort of return in trade in. His only chance of that that price is to catch someone that knows nothing about internet shopping. Wish him luck.

Yep, he seemed surprised that we could get the things so cheap. The only time I pay full retail for something is when I have a strong urge and feel like supporting the FLGS. If it's a big order, though, I'm going online.

That is true Jason, another advantage to waiting a bit on the MM order for the preorder stuff to come in is that if in a week or two he changes his mind we are still about.

You could always tell him, he could checkout the sell back to the Dragons lair for their wonderful 1/4th or 1/3rd price for store credit?

Yeah, I get the feeling he doesn't do a lot of resale. I think x/attack wing are the only minis games he's really played. He does board games and RPGs, but not a lot of minis. He seems to have some idea of the market, though, as he knows the Falcon is hard to come by right now. I'm not sure why, but it's getting a reprint sometime early next year, so it is not in production right now. If anybody knows why it's been sidelined I'd like to know.
