What happens when 3 Henchmen decide to host an event? They find that only Nuke Con can contain that epic level of gaming! Join us October 2nd to 4th for a weekend of gaming and fun! There will be open gaming and demos, a Gaining Grounds tournament, and Story Encounter. This is just the Malifaux part! There is much more to be had. Clear your calendar now and get ready for 3 days of gaming fun! The events will be held at Nuke Con. Check out all the info on the convention itself here: www.nuke-con.com/ It will cost $25 to enter Nuke Con, but that price gets you the whole weekend! Each event will cost $10, but if you sign up for both, you get a discount rate of $15 for both! Info on the events are as follows: Friday October 2nd. Malifaux demos and open play. Drop in and get some practice or try out a game if you never played. This will run from 5pm until 10pm. Saturday October 3rd. Gaining Grounds tournament. This will run from 12pm until 7pm. Sunday October 4th. Story Encounter tournament. This will run from 10am unitl 5pm. Both events use the following rules: 50ss, Fixed Factions, Models must be fully painted and based, Proxies will be allowed only for models that are not yet released by the time of the event. The Gaining Grounds will follow all the rules per the official rules. Strategies and schemes for both events will announced later. Any question, post up here in this thread.

Seems like we sold our first ticket to Fauxmaha. Looks like this is real.

Tried to sign up as I figured some things out with the family, but it seems to be having a problem on the registration, will not let me get past my information in the first step of paying.

You could just tell the family you have plans for that weekend first and work around it, but that is just me. From what I hear, the site is a little buggy. Really, the main reason I ask is to make the event look like it has some people going, as it is now, it just looks like a fail.

You try to explain to your soon to be 95 year old grandfather you are going to miss his birthday. I am good for Saturday, I worked that around. Just Sunday will likely be claimed. If the site will like me *Got past the last point, giving me problem elsewhere now* Getting closer at least *think I might just go for the mail in option, might be easier*

Well I have mailed in to get my entrance into the con, waiting on confirmation of that. Still working on terrain, got Pandora good enough done so she is out of the way. So just Doppelganger *who is almost half done*, Mr. Grave, and the Widow Weaver if I want to round out my choices a bit.

I tried signing up on my phone - doesn't seem to work. I'll register this evening or tomorrow, I guess. My work PC blocks the nukecon site.
I have a total of 5 western buildings now, 4 assembled. Hopefully I can knock the last one out this weekend, they kind-of suck to put together. Painting should be quick. I'll see about adding in some of that techy terrain I've got, too.
Anybody got a good idea for putting these buildings on bases? I'd like them to be enter-able, but they'll need bases so they can be lifted without losing their positions.

From the looks of it, should not be more than 20 players. That is what I am counting on

Bring one to Saturday Cort and let me take a look. Depending on size you likely could just use Sheet Styrene from a hobby store.
I got 7 rock formations now, 2 camp fires, a little forge thing, 3 swamp tiles, 5 Crates/barrel/bag terrain pieces, 9 Path pieces, 2 Bamboo forests, 2 rock spheres, a pond, two terracata warrior pieces from Cort, and a spirit hazardous terrain piece.
I got a couple buildings I should be working on this week to put together as well as one or two more Crates/barrel/bag terrain pieces.
