Not going to be able to make it Antonio, sorry. I am okay and my car is okay but an idiot almost caused an accident and I am in no mood or disposition to drive tonight after that close call. Sorry.

Some things has come up last minute so I will not be able to make it tonight Hope all is well Michael. A few of us were able to make it out last night. Antonio and I had an Outcast grudge match. It was the formerly shirtless Von Shill (Antonio) vs the Plague (Hamelin). Von Shill edged out a close win with some well played scheming by Antonio. Having said that, me likey the blighty...  Arik accumulated a fare amount of blight and eventually fell to a massive case of the bleeding disease. On the other table there was a Zipp sighting, I didn't get to watch but I heard a few comments about how he was tailor made for the hedge maze board. Since Zipp is outcast now I will eventually have to pick him up because he just sounds fun. Aaron should be pretty happy because the Bayou look pretty cool and fun for M3E so far.

With regards to Hamelin, I've read some complaints about him from some Hamelin players on the Wyrd forums (saying he's not very good in this edition-which you can always take with a grain of salt). Best I can tell is that you need to take alot of soulstones because Nix and Benny can be pretty squishy without them. Having said that, they are both cheap for henchmen. The obedient wretch doesn't really do much now, I doubt that I would take her much (if at all). I need to think more about the role of the rats. Benny can summon them in with an action by removing scheme markers. I think Benny's actions are better spent doing other things. I think the Winged plague could use +1 MV or reduce their cost to 3. Having flight is certainly good though. I'm sure it's a good thing, but the only way to dish out blighted at range is with Hamelin's lure. Generally speaking you have to be up close and in the enemy's face to give out blighted. |
