I hate Deathclock...
But ya, I am thinking it would not be a bad idea to try some time limits on some games, at least if someone wants to prepare themselves for Nukecon. I get the feeling that might be the biggest problem I might be having right now. I have gotten most of the rust off in prep for Nukecon, my issue now is making sure time is good and not forgetting some of Collodi's oddities *stating condition stuff and Effigy stuff*. I mean in some games of Malifaux the game is pretty much decided by the end of turn 3, sometimes it is back and forth till the last turn. It will hurt bad even if you are at the top of your game if you cannot do it timely.

I'm gonna bring Warmachine and probably Malifaux. X-Wing stuff is coming in Tuesday, so I imagine it's gonna be Malifaux and X-Wing for a while after this week.

Well, now that I am done with 3 Saturdays of the best demos ever, think I might be heading back to the lair.

So how many demos did you think you ran total across those three Saturdays?

Six in total. There are at least 3 maybe 4 guys for sure that are getting into the game. The others could be maybes.

OKAY, guys. I wanna get THREE games in on Saturday. Who will oppose me in X-Wing from 10-noon? At noon thirty I will play AoS with Antonio, or Malifaux with some lucky fellow. After that game I will do whatever I did not do at noon thirty.

If we do AoS, want to do 50 point level? Seems like a quicker game.

Hello,
Just a quick question: are you guys going to be playing regular Malifaux this Saturday or the one you've been signing up for? I was hoping to be able to come out to keep learning but if you guys will be into something else then I'll hold off as its a bit of a drive from across the river.

Saturdays are normally Malifaux, but all the group (except me at the moment) are into X- Wing. Some play War Machine and Age of Sigmar. It is a matter of 5 guys that have played each other too much so they take a break at times. I normally have Malifaux with me when I show up. There should be some regular Malifaux this weekend with them getting ready for the Nuke Con event.

Yeah, it's kind of both. The event is starting, but the event is regular Malifaux games. There's optional scenarios too, but for the most part it's just regular games, but we report the results on the website in order to influence the Gencon exclusives next year. So you can sign up for the event too. You don't have to show up every week either as I know you said you have stuff going on on Saturdays often. So don't feel like the event is a commitment. It's almost more about cutting down on the other games a bit and getting some more Malifaux in for a while. Actually a pretty opportune time to show up and get some games in. You can sign up at www.wyrd-games.net/nythera so that games you play in can count toward the event.

Normally we will have at least one game of Malifaux going. I personally want to play two games of Malifaux but tend to play a game of x-wing against Michael just to know I can beat him once in a while. The dice like me a little better.

Since no one in my group is going to be at the Nuke Con story encounter, I would like to bring the encounters out for play test. You don't have to try them if you don't want, I am just tossing this out there.
