Hello all,
Myself and a couple of guys that frequent the Game Shoppe in Bellevue have been considering dipping our toes into Malifaux as a second game for when we burn out on Warmahordes. I've spoken to Cookie, Beau, and a couple of others I assume you guys know and was curious on your exclusivity to dragon's lair, how well the game is doing in the Omaha location, and any other interesting tidbits that might concern me about the game.
Thanks, depending on the perceived enjoyment of the game I'll probably frequent the boards more often to keep abreast of events.

Greetings! We do indeed know Cookie and Beau, they used to members of the group some years ago. I am the henchmen for Malifaux in the area, so I run all the events and such. We tried out Game Shoppe at one time and even though the place is much bigger, it just has more people and really does not seem all the larger. Plus the Game Shoppe is quite a drive for most of the group. The new lair does have a very nice gaming area now and is very well stocked on Malifaux. We currently have 5 players in the group (not counting myself) that vary in levels of play style. We do often have events with the group in Lincoln also. All in all, I think it does well. Get new people in once and a while to check it out and buy stuff, maybe play once, but then they never come back. Still have not figured out why that is. We do take breaks once and a while with other games, such as X Wing, Wrath of Kings, and Wreck Age. I post on here a lot, as you can tell by my post count, and try to keep everyone up to date on events and info. We do have a small Malifaux event coming up this Saturday and the Lincoln group is coming over on the 28th for a bigger one. Feel free to drop in on those days to check it out. Any one of us will happily give a demo.

We didn't really enjoy going out to the Game Shoppe when the Lair was closed. Well, except for Mike since he is actually closer to TGS than DL. There didn't seem to be enough space for a new group on Saturdays. Malifaux is a ton of fun, though. We're a pretty small group, but we've stuck with the game for a long time now and would love some fresh mea... I mean players.

TGS is definitely saturated with warmahordes on saturdays when combined with magic. (It's the free for all day there so far as I know). I am getting a few people on my hype train to try out malifaux, some of the nuances of the game starting off are just confusing. Once I get some models painted up and completed I will probably drop by - I live in Bellevue though, so TGS is certainly closer for me as well. Mike is good people though, we've played a few warmachine games lately.
