Apparently with Fantasy Flights merger being announced some info has come out from the new CEO. Most of it is that Fantasy Flight will remain a fairly independent element in the company as it has been doing its job well but apparently one of the things hit on was the Online distributing system for the games. Fantasy Flight had allowed online retailers to deal with them directly and because of it get a fairly decent discount, thus why online prices for X-Wing at Miniature Market is like 33% off on a lot of stuff. From the sounds of what some of what is being said is this discount rate is going to get slashed and from other people's estimates it will be more like 20% if not a little less. Also they are going to cut down the number of distributers as well.

So I am debating a Miniature Market order to round out a few things in X-Wing and seeing if there is anything else I might want to pick up at Miniature Market. Not sure of the timing on this, but I doubt this pricing matter is going to start changing any time in the immediate future as the two companies have not finished ironing things out yet.
