Okay I realized I did not have a thread per say for this as the original one was tied into another thread. Nolan already told me what he was looking for, I know Jason and Cort were thinking about it. If you want anything just post here or pm me. Same with Mike if he is interested though I did not really get a chance to ask him before he left after games.

Question for you guys, IE Nolan and Cort, when I went to put the order in last night I noticed Rebel Aces and Abuela were both out of stock. I was hoping they would be back today but they were not. Did you want me to go ahead with the order or wait a few more days to see if they come back. I imagine they get their restock once a week and neither are exactly corner case items so I imagine it would not be long for them to restock. But I wanted to ask you two first.

It would seem. I have to wonder if this is because they are building up for Wave 8, kind of like how they had the big out of stock before because they were building up for a big new release. Or if this is somehow related to their new policy, in that people are heavily buying now and thus creating a big of a sell out.

It could well be a combination of both.
Oddly, I'm pleased with FFG's policy change. I always feel torn buying local or MM. When I shop local I feel like I'm overpaying, when I shop MM I feel like I'm not doing my part for the community.
I wonder where the extra money ends up. Will FFG raise their prices, or are they forcing online retailers to make more per piece?

Oh I am pleased in the long run as well, I understand what you mean by being torned.
As for the extra money, that is a question that is up in the air. Technically it is going to go to FFG, because they will not be offering the amount of bulk discounting to the Online retailers so much, meaning they will jack up their prices. But they said they are going to try and keep it at a point where Online will still perhaps be a little cheaper, but with shipping comparable. But that means FFG is technically going to be charging them more, so the money ends up in their pockets. But at the same time they expect this will decrease demand online and drive business to the Retailers, where will pick up the swing in sales. So basically FFG will make more, the Online will make less as they will sell less *but likely have the same profit per sale*, and the store retailers will get more as they will have more sales.
