I would not be surprised if you guys didn't know, but there is a new gaming shop opened at 108th and Maple. Sparta Games. Looks pretty nice and I drove by at 9:30pm and there was gaming going on. Just a heads up.

Wow they are pretty close to both Dragon's Lair and Game Shoppe II. I had heard there was another one that might be opening in that direction but I had not realized how close.

From their Facebook page: - Members will receive $10 per month in Sparta store credit. This credit may accumulate to a maximum of $100, and has no expiration date. - League dues for members in any Sparta sponsored league will be waived. - Members will receive further benefits at Sparta sponsored events on an event by event basis. - Members will receive 5% cash back in the form of store credit, on any purchase of $100 or more Sparta membership is only $10 per month, with no minimum time period. Because you immediately receive $10 in store credit, this means Sparta membership is free of charge. They will be selling alcohol

These guys know what the hell is up. I've thought this kind of thing was a good idea for a long time, very surprised none of the old stores caught on to doing things this way.

Says something when Antonio is that impressed. Might have to take a spin out there Friday if I have time to take a look, if not might head there after games Saturday to scope it out. Interesting membership idea.

I think they're still not open their normal hours yet. Got the impression they'd be open Saturday, but maybe not this Friday.
