Welcome to Mrs. Torey’s School for Gifted Ladies, a safe place for young ladies with unique powers or abilities. Seems the ladies have really got it made, as Mrs. Torey was able to get tickets to Malifaux. It was Lucius Matheson himself, that helped Mrs. Torey obtain the tickets. Maybe it was an act of goodwill or maybe a plan to see what the breach would bring out in the ladies. So now they come to Malifaux and the Masters of Malifaux already have their eyes on the ladies in hopes of new recruits for their faction. Only time will tell, but until then, let’s meet the ladies…
Becki McAlexander
Social, out going, and almost always in a cheery mood, Becki has travels many parts of the world. Quick to defend her friends, but not as much with blades but words, Becki uses her odd ability to influence others to her advantage. She can be distracting to some, but to her allies, her voice is music to their ears.
Lauren Freeman
Full of her own self doubt, and always second guessing herself, Lauren came to the school to learn to trust herself more than anything. The odd thing, despise her self doubt, things always seem to work out for her and sometimes those around her. Her time with the military police made her skilled with guns, and paired with her luck, she can be terrible luck to run into.
Julie Hampton
In her youth, she studied abroad in the Three Kingdoms. There she learned much about their arts and magics. After she returned to the States, she joined the school in hopes of honing her skills. Skilled with the hidden weapons of the Three Kingdoms and a healing art, it is best if she is on your side.
Mariah Katchem
The daughter of very successful bankers, Mariah wanted to see the world and learn about it from the view of the everyday person. She loved collecting things, mainly cards and plush animals, which stirs on her passion for her journey. Skilled at math and calculating, she always knows the odds and they are often in her favor.
Miku Yamada
Coming to the States from the Three Kingdoms, Miku is an exchange student. Always full of energy and cheer, Miku desires to make all around her happy. She uses song and dance to cheer up the gloomy and sad. She may be cheery all the time, this is not to say she will not take up her father’s katana to defend her friends.
Lola Browne
Coming to the school from a little place called Soho, Lola enjoys being at the school. There are some that are suspect there is something off about the young lady, but nothing has been found. Lola is quick to defend her friends, but not with just force, but her own controlling voice. Able to drop men to their knees with her voice, it is wise to be weary of Lola.
Lizzy aka ShadowLady
Born in England and coming to the States in her teens, Lizzy has felt out of place no matter where she goes. This could stem from the fact she believes herself to be Neverborn and left behind on the wrong side of the Breach. Possessing a strange ability to take most any items and crafting them into something totally different, this only goes to prove her point. Of all the students, Lizzy is most excited to cross the Breach, and returning home.
Iris Greene
Known around the school as the Gizmo Queen, Iris seems to always have just the device or gadget for any situation. Quick on her feet and with her mind, it hard to anyone to get the upper hand on Iris. Iris is very interested in the visit to Malifaux as she has heard of the many constructs there and the ideas she can gain.
Taylor Vincent
Even though she comes from a very rich family and really has no special abilities, Taylor was sent to the school by her family in hopes of straightening her out. Some what wild and true heart breaker, Taylor only wants to make sure she is happy. She is excited for the trip to Malifaux, for she hopes to stay there and start her own wild life there.
Luka Ducca
Quiet and shy, Luka normally talked with Lizzy as the two always felt out of place. On earthside, Luka was haunted with voices and strange visions, but didn’t really have an unique ability. On the trip to Malifaux, the excitement of crossing the Breach became too much for her and she died from a heart attack on the way there, but the Breach brought her back. Now she tries to hide her current state from the others and deal with a whole new set of haunting voices and visions of her fellow undead.
Annabella Lindquist
Often called the Teacher’s Pet, Annabella knows the others are just jealous of her mind. Sharp of mind and wit, but lacking most common knowledge, Annabella sees herself as the ladies last hope of making it at the school. Sometimes, Annabella can be even too much for Mrs. Torey, but her intentions are good. Nothing bad has ever came from good intentions, right?
