So the Shoppe is finally getting a good stock of Malifaux minis in, so now is the time to ask what everyone thinks of charging fees for events? This would only be for one day events, like Henchmen Hardcores. I am thinking nothing more than $5. This way everyone can try can collect up models they might not have money for. We can do that, or stay free and use the mystery boxes for prizes. You are my community, so I will go with what you want.
Just some numbers for everyone. It takes at least 13 players in an event to get the second level prize kits. And it takes at least 25 players to get the biggest kits.

Just so I understand:
- Free means x mystery boxes as it has been.
- $5 means the top x players get prize money/gift certs to buy minis in addition to the same mystery boxes?
I like the mystery boxes AND am willing to pay $5 for "major" events. I.e. I'd hope the mystery boxes remain in some way. They are just fun.

It would vary by event. If there was enough, it could be split among 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The prize would be in store credit, so you could save up as we do at least one event a month. The mystery boxes will always be there.
