We are almost at the one year anniversary of the new community at Game Shoppe, so I figured now would be a great time to start doing a monthly community new update. A little talk about new players, old players, and upcoming events.
In player news, I would like everyone to welcome Aaron to the community. He just got into malifaux with Neverborn, this will give Nepilim Dan some competition. Bill from the Shoppe also got into Malifaux Saturday with Leviticus. He will most likely be playing on Saturdays. So be sure to welcome them. We have not seen nor heard anything from Dan, Aaron, or Josh all month. Hope they are doing well and will be able to get in some game so they don't miss out on the Divergent Paths event and freebies. There was also a small group that showed up over a month ago that was into Malifaux, but I have not seen or heard from them since. Not sure they are part of the forums or not, but maybe one day they will return. We also had Jonathan and Aidan join in a few months ago and though unable to play on Mondays for now, they will return one day. This makes the current community 9 players, with 3 more as Saturday only players. As you can see, we have the numbers to switch to bigger prizes, we just everyone here at one time.
In event news, we are on the last week of the Tower league. We will find a winner next Monday. Also, Sept 31, Oct 1, and Oct 3 is Nuke Con and Victoria, the Lincoln henchlady, will be hosting Malifaux event all weekend. Hope everyone will at least make it to the Saturday event. After the Tower, we will be switching to open gaming. This is to help everyone get in games for the Divergent paths event going on. This will last until Nov 20th. We will be having a Halloween event on Halloween, more news on that later.
