I actually got in 9 games of Malifaux, a record for me for the year. It was a great time. I placed last in Henchmen Hardcore, 7th in the Masters, and 4th in the Story encounter. There were some things I learned and took away from this year's event.
First, paint more models. I need more choices. I had a terrible choice for henchmen hardcore.
Second, read schemes better. I goofed myself over on all three rounds of the story encounter by reading the scheme wrong.
Third, even having played as few games as I have, I still know Resurrectionist pretty well.

I should not be laughing at the painting comment, as you were always better than me at that, but it did make me laugh.
You goofed the story encounter and still got 4th? That does not sound so bad. And 7th in Masters meant you were middle ground which is not bad.
Things I learned, if I am giving the option to pick the table for the last round of a tournament, I REALLY should pick one that is in my favor rather than my opponent's.
