As I have brought up at the lair, I plan to try and go to Adepticon this year. Spoke to Antonio and Jason already about it but wanted to throw it up here to see about others. Here is the link to the Site www.adepticon.org/Will be April 3rd to 6th

Some Info for Antonio in case Ryan forgot to call him. Ryan is going to Adepticon and he is going down to help set up Wednesday. I know you were asking me and Jason about our thoughts of going down and we were not keen going down a day earlier, so you might want to get in touch with Ryan if you were still thinking about it.

Yeah, I am scrapping the idea of trying to help out. Too much trouble when in a group. The question is, when do we plan to leave? I would like to get there before the con starts.

That is a good question. I was originally going to talk to Jason Saturday more about that but he did not show so I figured he was busy and was going to talk to him next saturday about leaving time, events, and everything *and then you know Dragon Lair had its issue*. I am game of course for doing Game Shoppe or what ever everyone wants for gaming, had planned to try and talk to Jason but we can discuss it here too if needs be.
That said both of you have experience with Adepticon which I do not, and it has been a long time since I have driven to Chicago *and the last time I did I was not driving so I don't remember much of going through the city*. So I would like your guy's thoughts. I have Thursday to Monday off, and I Might *big might but possible now* be able to get Wednesday off too now, so I am fairly open to leaving time.

This one is for Jason as I realized I cannot find his number.
I took a look at that Residents Inn you mentioned and the pricing. And while you are right that it is only about 90 bucks, it would only be for Friday Night into Saturday and Saturday night into Sunday. When I plugged the info in it says that the Wednesday Night and Thursday night are both 159 bucks a night before switching to 89 for the other two nights. So it would be 496 plus tax. Kind of high to split just two ways. So I took a look at a couple other hotels that are about as close.
-One is the Stay Inn Lombard that is about 340 plus tax; it is actually a little closer than the Resident Inn but no frig in the room but still has Breakfast. Also free parking.
-Next one is the La Quinta Inn that would run 285 plus tax. It is a little further but still with in about two miles of Adepticon roughly. It has breakfast as well but no frig again. Likewise has free parking.
-Last one I was looking at is the Red Roof Inn. Again a bit further than the La Quinta Inn but says with in 2 miles of the district area that Adepticon is in. This one is about 250 plus tax. This one includes a frig and free parking though if we don't want a frig we can shave about 17-20 bucks off. Taking a look at the pictures though it is likely the smallest of the rooms, though still managable for two people.

Have you checked into if they have rooms? Lots of places around that area are going to start filling up. Hope you guys find something reasonable.

So far all of them say they still have rooms open though some others I did glance at say they were running low on rooms.

Ok, just be careful. I am sure there are groups out here that will also try to wait until the last minute.

Which is why I am trying to hammer this out now if all possible and why I am trying to get in touch with Jason to iron it out sooner rather than later.
