Hello everyone! Since we will be gaming on the very day of the new year, I figured I would post up a community update for the year before hand in case anyone wants to chat about topics now or at the game. I plan on really changing up this year, and hopefully for the better. So shuffle those decks and get ready.
Prizes
Looking at past updates, it looks like I have been trying to get the mid sized prize kit for the community for about 2 years. We have not even came close to that. In fact, we are even farther from that now. So I have decide to change up the prize system. Those who were at the holiday party would have got a holiday card from me with some paper money in it, Script in fact. That is going to be the new prize system for the year. Everyone will earn script for showing up and playing in the leagues and events. Every month, there will be a silent auction for a alt miniature. Every three months, there will be a silent auction for a alt crew box. This way, the community will at least have a chance at winning the alt crews.
The schedule
I have decided to really mix things up this year with a new format for the events and leagues. Every other month will be a league/campaign and the other month will be open gaming with an event in there. This will let everyone relax every other month from set factions leagues and what not. We will see how this works out.
Through the Breach
Another thing I will be adding to the list of events will be Through the Breach One Shot adventures. This will be during the open gaming months in case someone does not want to play TTB. During January will we making Fated that you will be able to use for the adventures during the year. And if there is a TTB world event, everyone can use their fated in that. Should be fun.
So those are the updates for the year. We will see how everyone likes them. I do also plan on adding more interactions with the forums, so look out for that. I hope for a great 2018 and getting a few more people in the community.
One last thing. I did end up playing only Resurrectionist for 2017 and it was quite fun. So get ready for Ten Thunders 2018.
