What is the difference between a standard grid and Malifaux 18 grid? I get the one is for GG 18, but don't know the difference in terms of deployment options or whatever would necessitate different grids.

The ones with a year are based off the strategy and schemes markings. All the deployment is still marked. |

So would you go with the gaining grounds overlay, or the generic 'faux one? Been trying to figure that out myself.

If I have the choice, I would just go with the basic. Since the gaining grounds change every year. Deployment, the 6" in the middle, and center line are the big thing I look for.

I would agree with Antonio. Back when I was thinking about it last year I thought about getting the 2017 to get the strat lines too but if they are going to change every year it seems just simplier to get the default deployment lines, 6" center, and center lines so you don't not worry about any extra lines throwing you off.

Okay, I talked with my buddy Mario and we need to have the order ready by the end of the month. So we got time to get this done. I feel we should take inventory of what we got so we don't double up too much on the mats. I will be editing the first post to reflect the info.
