Location: Game Shoppe
Date: Jan 7th to 28th
Time: 6pm
Cost: $0
With M3e looming in the horizon, there is just enough time to run one last Shifting Loyalties campaign before it is gone. The Final Campaign will be a 3 month shifting loyalties campaign broken down into one month chapters. There will be events on the off months also based on the campaign, so keep an eye out for that.
This campaign will use all the basic rules for getting started as in the rulebook. All encounters will be story encounters, as they will also be gone once M3e is out. Players will get to pick locations and that will give you the list of story encounters you can play.
The following optional rules will be use: The Plot Thickens (the weekly event), Individual Events, Stay Dead.
Get those crews ready for one last adventure.

Well, that is some chatter. I am trying to get this place more active. How about likes? Every like on the first post adds 5 soulstones to your starting total!

Gremlins! I am sure you are all dumbfounded! I've been super torn on the Henchman. Was wanting to build and use all the dudes from the Backdraft box. But.... never got around to it. So, maybe Francois? He's painted at least. With the extra five stones I think I just qualified for, maybe McTavish... I don't know. lol. I still have a few hours to figure it out. Might be good if I don't go with the Backdraft gremlins... probably wouldn't work to well when we get around to that story encounter. Can't remember. I read it a ways back.

I was hoping to use some of the Backdraft minis too, maybe I'll declare Arcanist and work them in later...

I don' know about you guys and gal, but it was fun to get in some Malifaux campaign action. It will be missed. Micheal did bring up something that I forgot to tell everyone before hand, and even I did not do. You might want to bring along extra minis for the encounters. There will be some that give you a soulstone bonus (much like the one Lauren and I played) or might even let you hire masters (like one Micheal was looking at). In both cases, the models are considered extra models for the game only, much like weekly event models that might pop up. So bring out those extra models, you might need them. Another thing, which we forgot also, was weekly events. Those are flipped per each player's encounters. With the wackyness of story encounters, I will leave this as optional, but do want to let everyone know that those are a great way to get more script. I do want to let everyone know that the objective of the campaign is to play the most different story encounters. The idea is to have the best final story. Don't forget the theme for the month, the Undying, which can be played at any Ten Thunder or Resurrectionist location. The rep you gain has to do with something else, maybe prizes later on. One last thing, there is one encounter that can only be played if you perform a special condition. I will let you know when that happens. And one last thing, I do want to remind everyone that this campaign is more for fun than anything. Defenders will pick encounters that seem like they are screwing the other player over, but don't let that stop you from playing schemes that are almost certain against your opponent (like I did to Lauren). Some encounters will seem very bad, but all story encounters are a little wacky as that is what makes them different. Hope everyone continues to have fun and can't wait for next week.

Well it looks like Michael unlocked a bonus encounter for next week, which he might use next Monday if he likes. Next Monday will be the last day for Chapter One of the campaign. We will pick it back up in March. Everyone is free to continue their crews or start over if they like and try something new. After next week's games, I will post up the current standings for the campaign. See everyone next week.

So the first chapter of the campaign is over. If everyone that is in the campaign could please turn in your rosters sheets to me asap, that would be great. You can continue to play this crew if you like or start a new one when chapter two starts in March. Thanks for the support everyone.

So far I have 3 of 7 rosters turned in. If you want to start a new crew for the next chapter, please let me know. Until then, those that turned in their rosters get 1 bonus script per week the others are not turned in.
