Good May, fellow Wyrdos! We are at crunch time this month with the Bugeater GT being at the end of the month! I hope things go over well this year. I am not as much depressed on bad it will fail, but stressed about making sure I got the prizes. lol. Always something with me.
This month we get in some practice for the Bugeater with a mock tournament in the form of a league. Last year when I tried this, everyone just quit showing up. Will history repeat itself?
In other news, in the Nebraska area, it seems like we are the only lasting Malifaux group. Only ones to stick it out. There are times I am a little disappoint with how few people show up on Monday, but always delighted they do come back at some point. It is this reason I would love for us as a community to attend more local Malifaux events. Show off that we stuck it out and still love malifaux. There are events in Des Moines and Souix City often and I would love to show up at those as a group. Just something I would love the community to think about.
With M3e hitting next month, we do have a small handful of people in the area showing some interest in the game. I hope we can add them to the community, maybe get back some of the ones we lost. Remember to always try to be welcoming and friendly to the new people. Who know, they could be our next regular hanging out for the rest of the year.
