Silly post out of no where... and I know Mondays are spoken for the next several weeks.
But I was think. Dangerous, I know.
Do you all think Henchman Hardcore will still be a thing in M3E? I always liked those for a little one off variance.

They are doing a henchmen hardcore at Gen Con. We could totally try it out in June after the Bugeater.

Neat. I wonder if the Henchman would still get 3AP as the leader. Also will it still be the same layout? 4 models 20 points? I was thinking this might be a little harder these days. Not to mention Caches no longer exist.

They do indeed. Any leader gets 3 actions. I can't see too many problems with the new rules. Only problem would be the free totem (effigy), but there are no rules that say you must take. Also, you still don't pay for the leader (henchmen) so it is really not that different.

Didn't think of the Totem/Effigy. I suppose too that by taking it a person could free up points to get a cache. Assuming a side rule didn't prohibit that. Seeing as you can only have four models it would probably even out kind of. Of course I'm sure the upgrade to turn into the emissaries would probably be mighty popular. But that has a balance built into it as well with when it happens and how much it heals. Could be fun.
