Happy Holidays, Fauxmahans!
We have already entered the last month of the year, only 3 gaming Mondays left. One will be the final event for 2019, so I hope to see everyone there that can make it. Be sure to check out the rules. It will also be our unofficial holiday party, so feel free to bring treats.
Normally I post up a year in review, but as I as looking over the past months, I noticed that most of the year was just open gaming. There were a about 4 leagues for the year and that was it. I do plan to bring back the leagues and campaigns more next year. Most of the community is not competitive so there is not a need for heavy training all the time. I do plan to host some tournaments every other month, just for the USFT, but it will not be the standard for the group.
As for the community, we have seen change. Lost a few of the regulars from the past years (Josh and Nephilim Dan), but we gained a few new players that have been returning on the regular. Now all we need to do is get Lauren, one of the oldest members of the community to game more (I kid!*) .
Well that is about all for the month. Here is to big plans for next year, it will be 4 years of Malifaux fun so far. Can we make it to the big 5?
