I am giving everyone half a year's advance notice about a tournament I will be holding at the great plains gaming festival in the first half of the next year. The dates aren't finalized yet for the convention, but it looks as if it will be late april.
The great plains gaming festival is a convention held in Lincoln that I was invited to run events for last year. It is a con for all things gaming, has a huge board game library, game demos, and different kinds of gaming tournaments (warhammer 40k, magic the gathering, pokemon, and more) and lots of open gaming.
I will be advertising the tournament heavily and trying to get a few people from outside our area to come. This tournament will be ranked.
I am planning on having a special fate deck created for the tournament.
