Does that many people already have all three of the 3 pointers? Guess I could do that instead of a free 3 pointer.

What is meant by "make the map?" I don't have all of the 3 pointers. Stupid Toshiro.

"I am just telling you what the request said," Joe tried to explain as he watched her mood carefully. After the last issue with the killer plant the desperate mercenaries were leery about going near Alyce or standing out. Hell he was leery too but he was outvoted. "The request said they wanted a map made for the 'Safety and Security of the Tour Group' and we would be compensated for our efforts if we did."
"Maps are silly," Alyce said wrinkling her noses.
"Maybe they want a make to make sure they avoid anything dangerous?" Offered Johan only to get a look like he was crazy from Alyce.
"This is Malifaux, EVERYTHING IS DANGEROUS!" Alyce said holding up her glass. "For all I know this glass is actually a Neverborn Mimic or the chair you are sitting on is booby trapped to explode into a magical vortex that will tear you from this reality to one of infinite suffering and horror that your soul can never escape from."
"That is a pleasant image," Johan noted glancing at his chair. "Still if it could note what to avoid..."
"Avoid anyone that wants to kill you, any Thing that wants to kill you, don't trust gentlemen or women of the night, avoid corpses and scrap piles, avoid anywhere near the walled off and heavily guarded areas or the sewers, Don't eat or drink what you don't trust, and don't go anywhere without armed experienced Escorts," Alyce said jamming her metal finger into the table. "Write that down and tell them it will be twenty times better than any half baked maps."
"Ah, I will tell them we will see what we can do," Joe said turning away carefully as Alyce ordered more beer.
"Look you scared the poor guy," Johan said waving at the retreating Joe.
"Not as scared as I would be of that chair of yours. I really did buy it from that crazy resser that hangs around Tara," Alyce said off hand. For a moment Johan was defiant but after several long seconds of staring at Alyce he got up and moved to the next chair over. And pulled his relic hammer closer.

"Mistress Nekima! I have heard from the manager of that band... Skeezix McWhiskers or whatever his name is." Mr. Graves steps up to Nekima's throne-like chair, a smirk adorning his face.
Nekima straightens. "Oh? What is it this time? We had plant infestations before, and we got that infernal rock after that... what now? Potpourri in the waste receptacles?"
Mr. Graves chuckles and wipes his bald brow. "No, nothing like that. They require a map."
Lilitu pipes up from a nearby table "A map?"
Nekima opens her mouth as if to respond similarly but instead glares menacingly at Lilitu. Lilitu cowers a bit and issues a toothy smile.
Nekima states "Why is it that they need a map? They aren't...AFRAID of the realm of Malifaux, are they? Surely they're not used to touring the circuit of posh backyard barbeques and the homes of the elderly, are they?"
Doppleganger speaks up "Mistress Nekima, you never know of what shadows creep in the dark. Those abominable rezzers are out there you know. Uncivilized lot, them."
Johana mutters, "And you should know, eh?"
Angel Eyes glares at Johana "Why would you care, Miss Moneybags?"
Nekima, though enjoying the pettiness and bickering raises a clawed hand, "Enough entertainment for now. So what is it that is required regarding this map?"
Mr. Graves says "Mr.. McWhiskers suggests it as a security measure. Surely those other factions would rue losing AGAIN to our vastly superior strength and intellect and may take action to try to usurp the band's services by leading them to the wrong outpost!"
Lilitu says "Nonsense! I can simply...compel them enough to not lose their way!"
Angel Eyes adds "I can always shoot those who stray from the path!"
Nekima says "Now, luring them isn't what they are after. We want them to be here. Far more controllable if they don't resist. So make a map."
Lelu says "I'm sure we could form a welcoming party and lead them here just as easily."
Johana laughs again. "Perhaps I should go out and make the map. Sure, Toshiro knows of me but it is hardly knowledge who pays my bill otherwise." She glares at Angel Eyes, who glares back "Yeah, so I'm a Merc. So what? Anyways, I can make a map that would surely bring them right to this outpost. If not, well, I'm sure you all can figure out the plans."
Just then, a Terror Tot hobbles into the room and cautiously up to Nekima. It's clear that he's not on her good side as the slinged arm and limp suggests. "Mistress... Construction of the bar and band backdrop is complete!"
Nekima looks at the Tot and stands, drawing her sword. "Oh?" The Tot immediately cowers. "Let's go see how level that bar is. Every inch my mug slides...every drop of Grog spilled from the mug will cost you a limb!"
"Yes, Mistress Nekima!" The Tot gulps and the party moves towards the bar.

McTavish was mildly perplexed by the mysterious stranger he saw approaching the porch of his hideout. His garb was not quit like anything he had ever seen. Bedecked with various pastel equine forms hanging from trinkets and printed all along his tunic and satchel.
His bespectacled face bore a glorious salt and pepper mustache that wiggled to and fro. He approached and stated simply, "I require... The Map, there will be compensation". He wagled his fingers and eyebrows in what could only be thought of as an air of mystery.
McTavish was casually inching towards his rifle. Intending to shoot him in the face and be done with it. When he noticed amongst all the disturbingly feminine horses dangling from his bag, the Chimpz logo. Glittering in the mid day sun.
"A map huh? I ain't never been much fer' writing and what not, but I recon I could scrawl you out a map. But, a map of where?" The mysterious stranger began to waggle his fingers and facial hair once again, and he said "All I can say for now is... The Map. But more shall be reveiled soon, hehehe.".
McTavish figured he could play along for now. Besides, if it didn't get him closer to the band, he could always shoot him in the face later.

Kagura walked back toward the crew of undead and toward the Valedictorian. “Look at what I got. It is a job to map out the next area we heading to. I know scrip doesn’t mean that much you you guys, but it can get us supplies.” Kagura said with a smile. The Valedictorian looked back at her and nodded. “Strange guy, quite the butterfingers. Guy kept dropping all his supplies. I was able to pick them up, but boy, did he keep dropping stuff. He was pretty happy and even offered us a bonus at the end.” Kagura said as she held up a blank map. The Valedictorian just looked at her blankly and shook her head.

It was a slow day at Salvage and Logistics. Alyce was sitting at a table in the store front with her legs propped up on a chair as a tall slender man entered the shop. "Ahh my dear Alyce. Just the *ahem* lady I was looking for" the man stated as he stepped out of the shadows. "What is it this time Granville? The last time you came calling I nearly regretted knowing you", replied Alyce as she leaned forward in her chair. "Well, um, yes sorry about that one. I didn't anticipate gremlin entanglements for the job. I'm afraid the only guarantee I have this time is that it will be at least as dangerous as the last task", Granville added. "Now that you've piqued my interest, are you going to keep me waiting, or are we going to continue with small talk?", Alyce said impatiently. "My employer is wanting a more detailed map of this area of Malifaux", the man stated holding up a somewhat empty map. "That won't be a problem, but what is your 'employer' offering in return?" she asked. "As you know, he is normally willing to negotiate such matters but here is what he's offering" he said as he handed over a ledger to Alyce. "I suppose that will be fair. When do you need this map by? ASAP I presume, otherwise you wouldn't have paid me a visit. Correct?" Rusty replied with a somewhat sarcastic tone. "You are correct and wise beyond your years my dear" the slender man stated. To which Alyce replied, "Fine we'll get on it. Just make sure your employer is prepared to pay us on time. I'd hate to have to pay him a personal visit.."

After claiming the ancient monument, the Judge felt that maybe his luck had finally changed. There had been many failures with this assignment of housing the "Chimpz" with few victories and he knew time was running out. With fear the Judge opened the letter sent from Lady Justice figuring it was his death warrant but instead his good luck continued.
"Dear Judge" the task set before you was of great importance but yet not what you think. Up to this point you and your crew were lead to believe that the Guild wanted to house a famous band. In reality it was to flush out the enemies of the guild, some of which are the most vile scum to walk the streets of Malifaux. So from henchforth you are no longer hamstrung by strategy and tactics. You and your men are to elimiate all enemies of the guild with extreme prejudice. I also send a gift for the loyalty shown not only to me but to the Guild, its a ancient guild relic that will help lay low any enemies that stand before you. P.S. Happy Hunting! L. Justice
Folding the letter and putting it in his coat he turned to the package and opened it. It was a revolver that was a sight to behold, only matched by the revolvers of the Latigos. With his new orders and new gun the Judge was ready to unleash a wave of death upon his foes. He knew his time was short so he would need to be efficient from here on out, so a "Map" would be needed of the surrounding area. The Judge handed the blank parchment to the Austringer and sent him on his way with the task of mapping the area. Until we have our map we must venture out blindly into the badlands and bayou. "Gear up boys, for Tonight we dine in Hell!"

"I don't like patrols," Joe said with a sigh as he walked with one hand on his sword and the other close to his pistol.
"Why is that?" It was the new face, another desperate mercenary like himself. Alyce seemed to like having a stock of them on hand it seemed...
"Listen, you are new so I will give you some advice," Joe said lowering his voice as he glanced ahead at the back of the young lady leading the trio. "There is a good reason the big names of our crew don't go on side trips with Alyce."
"I heard something about some killing plant but that cannot be true," The other man started but Joe stopped him with a hand gesture.
"Not sure what you heard exactly but at least part of it is true I suspect," Joe said with a sigh. He could still hear that scream in his sleep as the plant had attacked the other mercenary. "She is the right hand of death in a fight but she has about as much sense as a squirrel that is missing a few nuts upstairs."
"She cannot be that bad," the other mercenary started and Joe groaned as he could almost feel the wheels of fate starting to grind backward at the words. True to his dread he saw Alyce stop her step and his eyes picked up a figure coming around around a corner ahead of them.
"Ten points for a Headshot," Alyce started as she drew her gun and leveled it at the person but stopped a moment before firing. It was a weary and somewhat lost looking traveler that seemed a bit confused as he looked at a map. "Who the heck using a Map in Malifaux?!"
"Do you think he is dangerous boss?" Joe said moving up behind Alyce but she was already putting her gun away. The sense of dread did not go away as Alyce approached the stranger.
"Hello Stranger, what brings you out here?" Alyce said in a manner that made Joe only more uncomfortable. Though he was looking at the back of her head he was fairly certain he could FEEL the smile on her face.
"Ah, hello..." the stranger said eyeing the girl and two armed men. He would hold up his map with one hand and a sigh. "I was trying to find my way and I seem I might have gotten lost. I was traveling and thought I could handle it alone but..."
"Ah huh," Alyce said in a manner that suggested she might not have really been listening as she reached up with her prosthetic arm and caught the paper between two fingers and led it to the side so it was no longer between her and him. "So you are a lonely mysterious traveler passing through the night."
"Ah.. well I guess so. I mean I am alone and traveling but I am not sure if I would phrase it like that," As he took a step back right as Alyce took a step closer. Alyce would take another step closer and he would retreat again. "Can I help you ma'm?"
"Maybe," Alyce said with a chuckle as she grinned. Looking over the girl the traveler would notice one of the armed men with her lifting his arm up and waving it away while mouthing something. It took a moment for him to figure out what silent words he was saying but he was fairly certain the man was telling him to 'Run Away'. Looking at that grin on the young woman's face again the man decided instantly.
"Wait Come Back!" Alyce shouted as the traveler turned and bolted like a rabbit. She started after him but he was already at the corner and fleeing down an alleyway. She would turn back and glare at the two men. "Remind me to shoot one of you later."
"Does.. does stuff like this happen often?" the other mercenary asked as Alyce disappeared around the corner after the man. He would glance to the side and see that Joe was already turning around to head back.
"Welcome to the Rabbit Hole. Careful, it is really deep," Joe muttered as he started walking. "When we get back I will buy you a round."

[Scene opens on a desolate stretch of road. The Neverborn Crew, led by Scion of Black Blood walks along on patrol along with Waldgeist, Angel Eyes, Lelu, and finally, Johana.]
"This is NOT what I meant!" grumbles Angel Eyes as she walks down the road idly picking at dirt on her clawed hands.
"Well, you and Waldo here complained about not getting called upon enough so... congrats! Lelu and I can just call it bad luck but you two... well..."chuckles Scion.
"Speak for yourself! I was bored sitting there getting jostled and bothered by those loathsome Tots and Lilitu was on one of her bouts of ever expanding generosity." complains Lelu
Johana smirks "You mean, she was getting things done through delegation and forceful command? Sounds more like leadership than...whatever it is you called it."
"What do you know of such things, sell sword!" snarls Angel Eyes.
Johana was about to do some explaining when Waldo creaks out a warning, "A stranger approaches! Calm yourselves before the potential storm."
Indeed, a stranger did appear in front of them, seemingly out of nowhere. The figure does not look masculine or feminine but is definitely humanoid. The figure is swathed in a deep, black, hooded cloak made gritty and dusty by what surely has been many a mile amongst the dirt and filth that is the barren Malifaux countryside. He or she moves but it isn't quite apparent how. The cloak does not rustle nor and foot or boot emerge from the cloak as if stepping forward in any semblance of a gait. Like its method of propulsion, his/her hands and face are obscured by darkness and cloak.
Angel Eyes, surprised by the sudden appearance only manages to draw her sidearm before the cloaked figure is upon them. She opens her mouth to speak but Scion cuts her off.
"Hold, traveler. You walk among the lands that call Neverborn, master! Speak your business here or seek forgiveness in the afterlife, if those damned Rezzers don't get ahold of you first!" states Scion, lifting his own blade.
The traveler halts and a voice, raspy and as gravelly as the road whence he came, states "I need not give you my name. It suits me not and you all even less! I know of the Neverborn...my ears hear the whispering of shadows and the callous calls of the wind."
Lelu smirks and emits a sound as a sort of combination of a snort and a chuckle. "You speak in riddles or circles or just blithering like some vapid windbag. Perhaps you should go join those performers. They seem to enjoy all that blowing about!"
Waldo the Waldgeist speaks up "Caution, traveler, you are already barking up the wrong tree. You don't wish to split that kind of timber in these dark woods."
Angel Eyes groans and Scion sighs.
"I speak no riddles and blow no winds. Woods bother me not except to shade me from the sun and slow down the winds and rain. I merely seek refuge and a place to hang my well traveled vestments." The traveler responds.
Johana steps up, "Well, for the right price, anything is attainable. Which type of refuge do you seek?"
The traveler responds, "I seek walls that do not block out the sun. Windows that see beyond the countryside and into one's soul. A refuge that boasts of restful respite from the toils from within. Do you protect what I seek, or do I seek elsewhere?"
The Neverborn crew, truly perplexed, looks at each other wondering what in the world is going on. Lelu states "This being is baffling. I say we send him to the refuge beyond this plain of existance!" Angel Eyes and Waldo quickly agree. Scion, again, holds up his hand. "Wait. Traveler, do you seek to produce a fight or..."
Scion looks back towards the traveler and stops... as the Traveler has simply vanished.
The crew looks about, amazed and stunned. "Nekima isn't going to like this.." says Scion.
Angel Eyes states "My vote is that we let the sell sword tell of this tale to the likes of Mistress Nekima. Better her neck than ours!"
Johana looks as if she's about to... hammer a response home... but the scene fades out before any resolution can occur.

Kagura sighed as she sat down. The other undead that had joined in the fight, returned to working with the others. The Valedictorian walked over and picked up her notebook and started to write in it.
“Well that was boring. I thought the masters of Malifaux would be more of a challenge. She acted like she was barely in the fight. Colette was no great improvement over the Captain.” Kagura said as she kicked a small stone and then propped her feet upon a chest. “I am hoping our next challenge is a little more of a challenge, that way I can really show you my skills!” she said with excitement, punching and chopping in the air. The Valedictorian looked at her blankly, then returned to her writing.
As the crew continued their work, Kagura looked over to notice a child standing the alley close to their hideout. She walked over to the young girl and looked down at her.
“Why hello. What are you doing hanging out in that alley? Are you lost?” Kagura asked. The young girl’s face got a little blush and she looked up at Kagura.
“How do you work like that? You know everyone can see your panties.” the young girl reply rather as matter as factly. Kagura frowned for a moment, then a smile quickly replaced that. She bent over at the waist and got face level with the little girl.
“Aren’t you just so precious?” Kagura said with a smile. She reached over to poke her on the nose, but rather, flicked her in the nose instead. She smile then disappeared. “So who are you and that do want?”
“My name is..” the young girl started and stopped. She leaned over to look past Kagura. Kagura then turned to look behind herself also. A few feet away from the two was a guy just standing there. He had a map in hands, which was just hanging there now. He was dressed rather outrageous, and seemed to staring right at Kagura’s behind.
Kagura stood upright again and walked over toward him, the whole time, he seemed to be locked in on her skirt.”Can I help you?” Kagura asked. The stranger unlocked his gaze and then focused on her face.
“And I thought the moons only came out at night.” he said with a grin. Kagura drew her fist back, but before she could let it go, there was a large crashing noise in alley in front of the hideout. She stopped in her tracks and looked over to see the rest of the crew had also stopped their work and were getting ready for a fight.
“We will finish this later.” Kagura stated with a wicked grin.
“I am sure we will.” The stranger replied as he drew out a pistol and got ready to join in.
“Well, another adventure.” The young girl said with a smile as she also ran over to join in as well.

McTavish let out a long sigh as the mysterious stranger approached. He pondered if he really should continue calling this his "hide out", seeing all the foot traffic he had been getting lately.
Normaly people shied away of the sight of a bunch of drunken grimlins wrastling with a pig. But as of late he was beginning to feel it was drawing them in.
He unlimbered his rifle, this one, he decided, was just getting shot in the face. "Tired of getting distracted, this one ain't waistin' my time."
