The Judge looked back at the Guild Outpost as he and his crew rode over the ridge for the final time. It had been a trying time for the marshalls turning the old run down outpost into a more Guild worthy waystation for the wanted. Though not finished to his standards it had definitely come a long way. Bruised and battered he and his small crew were glad to be headed home.
Along the winding road they came upon a lone traveler, the Judge warely rode up next to the traveler to ask what he was doing out here all by him self. The Traveler said he was on his way back to Malifaux after a much needed break from the everyday life of that God forsaken town. With that the Judge had to nod in agreeance, Malifaux had a way of weighing on a man. Well were headed into town ourselves said the Judge and if you like you can ride with us, the traveler nodded in acceptance as the thought of company was a nice reprieve from the loneliness it has been out here in the wilderness by him self. Whats you name stranger the Judge asked, Hatefist said the traveler.....

Hey everyone! Looks like we are coming up on the final game day of the campaign. Since a bonus for the last game would be kinda pointless, the last bonus is for winning the mystery box. All you got to do is post up one final story, but it can be about anything. Do this before Monday at 5pm and you will get a +flip to the flips for winning them mystery boxes. And now, on to the next events.

[eternalvoid - I'm taking some liberties with your crew and my story. If Alyce's part in my story does not jibe with your own take, let me know and I'll repost it with her part that does make sense]
<<The scene opens pointing at the door to the, now completed, Wasteland Outpost. The near completion almost takes a step back as the door is blown open by an obviously angry Nekima>>
"I thought when they called Lelu a "nightmare" it would be due to the problems he causes all who defies him! I'm mistaken. Maybe he just likes to out crazy that Alyce woman!" Nekima rages as she looks back over her shoulder at Lilitu, Lelu, Waldgeist, Scion, and Doppelganger; each following behind her in a defeated gaggle.
Mr. Graves rushes up to Nekima "Mistress Nekima, I'm sorry things did not fare well, but... there's something...erm...someone you need to address!"
Nekima "Oh? Since that jerk Bishop thought he could ruin my day now you must?"
"No. I get that honor." A voice comes from the darkened part of the front of the Outpost, normally where Nekima's throne sits.
Nekima stops cold. Only one person has a voice like that.
"Hello... Lilith." spits Nekima. "Come to gloat or are you going to, once again, steal the seat that rightfully is my own?"
The remaining party quickly enters, but just as quickly hastens to give the two ample space.
"No need, but I did come to see if there is any truth to what that woman in town is crowing to the media" states Lilith as she emerges from the shadows. Her sword is sheathed but the hilt remains visible from within her traveling cloak.
"What filth flies about now? Perhaps the Rezzers have gotten their own version of Alyce from the mound of rent flesh I left her in?" snarls Nekima.
Lilith laughs. "Wouldn't that be a fine development! No, sister, this Alyce you speak of is very much alive and is running around claiming that she got the famous Nekima to run from the likes of that lowly Bishop!"
"That boorish, ill-begotten Goblin-licker speaks likes! Lies, I tell you! Not even the dumbest Woe believes that garbage!" fumes Nekima.
"Then why is it that you got yourself routed so handily by a few sellswords and a crazy woman? Hmmm? Not something so deserving of one who, as you suggest, should be ruling this realm!" states Lilith matter-of-factly.
"It is not my fault that Lelu simply had to rush right into the embrace of that Alyce harlot, Waldo the Waldgeist was more tree than beast, and Lilitu looked lost once her precious slave got himself slaughtered! I doubt you'd fare better!" states Nekima.
"Perhaps. Perhaps not. It is true that your goals in the engagement were mostly achieved regardless, but only a Mimic left on the field after the altercation? I dare say I could indeed have fared better than that!" says Lilith.
Nekima snarls once again, "Well, sisster... you said she's running around squealing like a pig in town. Go find her and prove why you're the master! She shouldn't be that hard to find."
Lilith laughs and shakes her head. "No, sister. My eyes look to the North towards the rumor of the Queen's return. Titania occupies my attention. I just took a break to peek in on your little... enterprise. I like to see the family branching out into all forms of business. I'm glad I did. I haven't laughed like this since I taught that harlot Rasputina a few things. A long, long time ago."
"Then leave me to my work! I have things to prepare for! Battles surely to resume in the near future!" grumbles Nekima.
"Aye, I shall, dear sister." states Lilith, "but alas, I must take from you Barbaros and all but one of those precious Terror Tots. I'm resuming my trek up North. I'm told that Pandora may even come as well."
Nekima waves dismissively towards the request and with several well timed sprints, the Outpost is now devoid of all but one Terror Tots. Barbaros leaves shortly thereafter. "Take them. And take this Mysterious Traveler with you." She points to a rather garishly festooned man peering in through the doorway. "He's worthless to me. Perhaps he'll be worth something to you... if for nothing else, something to feed any Teddy along the way."
Lilith shakes her head and walks out of the Outpost.

"She is in a foul mood," Johan noted as the saloon had been quiet all evening. It was not from lack people coming in or drinks but the foul mood of the dangerous eyed woman sitting at the end of the bar. Anyone with half a brain would turn around and leave the moment eye contact was made. Johan worried how much damage might happen if anyone with less then half a brain walked in.
"How can you tell?" Joe questioned sarcastically. A few weeks ago he would never have dreamed of taking that tone to Johan but having lived so long in the crew had earned him some privileges. One of which was being able to speak back, if only a little bit. "At the very least she is no longer throwing scrip around trying to find more Soulstone ale."
"Ya, we have had it in back for so long I was wondering if we would ever use it and what do you know it ended up being just what we needed," Johan admitted. Of course Alyce had not gotten to see it in action, perhaps one of many reasons her mood was so black, but it had let them turn the fight 360 on the monster Nekima and her crew. The paper had been talking about how the Neverborn had been attacking Arcanists and Ressers for weeks now but this had been their first sighting of the large creature. Thanks to Alyce's 'Bishop' they had managed to come out on top as he had broke the Neverborn's left flank while Sue had taken care of much of the right side. Still from being the target of the Neverborn's efforts Alyce had been taken down in the fight as the neverborn had focused almost all their attention on her. Considering that a bounty had been on Alyce's head before it might well have been related but in either case it had left her in a black mood.
And Alyce in a black mood meant someone might end up dead if they were not careful.
"Still, those monkey guys are suppose to be coming to Malifaux here soon right?" Joe reasoned. "I mean we are almost to the finish line."
"I hate to see her mood if she does not like their music after all this," Johan noted. Together they all winced at the thought of what could happen if that came to pass.

Sadly, I will not be able to participate on Monday after all. I have a sleep study that evening (after about 3 months of trying to get it scheduled)... so I will try to swing by and say hi but no guarantees.
If anyone wants to pick up a game later on during the week, then let me know!

And so the campaign has come to an end. I would like to thank all for joining in. Thanks to those that posted up stories and really brought the campaign to life. I know the last day did seem kind of chaotic with the RP'er taking up a lot of space and I running a little late, but it ended well. I know that Michael got first place for having the most fortifications, but I would like to know what others got for second and third place. I did the random flip for the mystery boxes at the start so I could have some witnesses and get it done before everyone headed out. Michael and Nephilim Dan got the mystery boxes, Arron gets a bonus guilder for getting the black joker on the prize flip, and Jose gets a bonus scrip for having the collection of past Fauxmaha Informants. Thanks again to all, and now, on to the next one.
