When Wyrd announced plastics, one of my first thoughts was how I might get a plastic version of the nightmare sculpt. Wishes do come true! Oh, the other stuff is nice, too. I really like Kirai. |

Well it does look more like the Nightmare edition Chompy but smaller *and a bit less epic*. I think that the Nightmare Whiskey Golem is actually going to be pretty big. Like as tall as the Rail Golem but extending over the base like the Nothing Beast. I was kind of hoping for a hint of what the Miss was. This Gencon is leaving me a tad torn as much like last year I am not sure what I might want. Less that there is alot of choices and more like a few. There might be a few things I could go for later but so far I am way more a fan of Lucius's old model then his current, and of the old Guild Guard over the current ones. Might get Zoraida just to have official Silurids but at the same time they are likely to be a 3 pack later. Add into that I already have a Dreamer, Kirai, and Ophelia crew.
On a side note, man if that big guy is Dashel he got buff from his totem days.
Also I am curious what Cort thinks of the Collodi art. I personally like it though a bit surprised at Vailisa's appearance.

Honestly, I am unimpressed. I will be hard pressed to make the $100 dollars. I am going for Von Schill as I am dropping Arcanist for Outcast, but everything else is just meh. There are new fate decks also.
So far, with all the new models, they are nothing like I am picturing them. |

Vasilisa is completely different than what I assumed. The girl she is based on is just that, a girl. Turns out this is not the case in Malifaux. Df7 on an old puppet lady? What gives?

I know how you feel Antonio. I am going to have to look close at what is available and see myself. Personally while I love the new teddy I am not sure we needed a 4th one and would not have minded another Miss model. That said it is sort of an easy one for them considering they bad been kind of busy with TTB and M2E's second book.

After looking at the email they sent out for Gencon hitting 100 bucks might not be to hard. The Crossroad book is 45.00, likely to get at least 3 Arsenal backs at 9.00 a piece, so that is 72.00 right there. At that point one or two things added on could push me over 100.00. Thank goodness for the book and arsenal decks.

I'm... not sure what to do. I think I'm going all minis. The packs at $9 each kinda kill me since I got all my W1 packs for $4 each. I'll probably wait to see if Miniature Market puts them on sale this time, too since I already have cards I can play with.
I'll skip the book for now.
What am I getting? Hoarcats, Waldgeists, Silurids, and Hide and Seek. Oh, and a Miss Ery, of course!
Anybody know if the scheme/strat cards are plastic?

I am likely getting the packs now as we don't know how long it will be before we can get them elsewhere, doubt you will see that level fo sale again, and suspect that at least outside our circle tournaments will require the official ones now

Where are you guys getting prices? I am torn about the book. I would love to have it and know it might take a while before it comes out, but as long as I have the cards, I can play. I am sure the scheme deck is just paper, but plastic would be awesome.

I got an email newsletter from Wyrd that has the model selection and prices.
Also as a side note I got my Through the Breach stuff. They had upped the numbers on the multi pose sprues of theirs, apparently enough stuff for 11 models on each sprue *so one male and one female can yield 22 models* though several of the torsos and other parts are multiples *so 3 of the same torso*.

Congrats Michael! Eric posted a picture of the multi pose minis on the face book group and some of the combos you can make. I was called out for suggesting Wyrd do the same for minions. That group is so full of fan bois sometimes. Eric also said the multi pose minis will be for sell at Gencon, the left overs from the kickstarter and they will be out for retail soon after gencon. They look pretty cool, great for making fated in a TtB/ Malifaux crossover campaign. -hint hint-

I will bring the multi pose sprue on Saturday so you guys can take a look. There are some stuff I really like on the sprues but it is also kind of hard to figure some things out. For example one of the female heads has a hat but clearly something is suppose to go on the back of the head, the piece of hair is literally on the opposite end of the sprue no where near any of the heads.
Also as my thank you for taking so long random box I got Nicodem's plastic box, so apparently I have some necromancer and his friends now too. A friend of mine, Adam, apparently got the Pandora box though he is not interested in it, he might be willing to trade with someone or sell it below Retail he said.
Cort- true they will be cheaper through Miniature Market, but that is true for the models and book as well. Lets be honest here, any of this you can pick up in Miniature market will be cheaper.
